The 2024 training program is created to align with TSRC’s role in the Alpine pathway, Snow Australia’s (SA) Alpine Roadmap and the Kosciuszko Thredbo (KT) requirement for TSRC to be a performance orientated club.
TSRC accommodates skiers from U12 through to FIS level and all TSRC training programs are created and supervised by our Program Director.
All TRSC athletes need the appropriate Snow Australia membership (covers insurance) and a Thredbo winter season pass that allows access to the Thredbo Leisure Centre - available through the club at a discounted rate..
2024 U12 age group (DOB 2013 and younger)
This program is designed for young skiers who show strong skiing skills and who wish to develop their alpine ski and racing skills. TSRC follows the Snow Australia pathway and the important philosophy of continually developing fundamental skills at a young age.
This is achieved by a large focus on technical free skiing in varied snow and terrain and challenging the children in a fun environment of skills and drills. There is a strong priority for these age groups to optimise training vs race days in order to strengthen their skill and enjoyment of the sport as opposed to over racing.
